Beautiful view of the surrounding area and Gordes
Charming Provencal stone villa situated on a 4,000 m2 large and open plot with a beautiful view of the small medieval town of Gordes and over the surrounding lush landscape.
Gordes is perched high on a cliff on the north side of the large Lubéron National Park in the Vaucluse department, northeast of Cavaillon. It is not without reason that Gordes is one of the area's most popular tourist destinations. Gordes is the epitome of a Provencal village, and at the same time probably the most interesting.
Gordes is an exciting city with beautiful stone houses with colored shutters and flowering bougainvilleas climbing up the house walls, narrow stone-paved streets, arched passages and cozy squares with plane trees and old fountains. There are many small restaurants and cafes and several interesting small shops.
This beautiful villa accommodating 10 people offers a lovely outdoor area with a large and nicely planted garden and a wonderful pool area surrounded by a large sun terrace with sun loungers. In addition, a lovely, covered terrace with dining area. In the garden there is a boules court and table tennis.
The villa is on 2 levels and contains a ground floor with living/dining room with access to the terrace/pool, kitchen with access to the terrace, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with double bed and 2 single beds, bathroom with tub and a separate toilet. 1st floor contains 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each and access to a large terrace, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 separate toilet.
The Lubéron area offers good opportunities for various sports activities, including hiking, cycling, climbing, horse riding, canoeing, and sailing, golf and much more. You can explore the beautiful nature, visit idyllic medieval towns and some of France's finest wine cellars in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. If you pass Gordes in a northerly direction and drive into the mountains, you quickly reach the secluded Cistercian monastery, Abbaye de Sénanque (from 1148), the oldest and best preserved of Provence's three Cistercian monasteries. Really worth a visit.

Beaumes-de-Venise is well-protected from the Mistral wind below the jagged mountain ridge of the Dentelles, and it is precisely this location that has given the local winegrowers fantastic opportunities for winemaking for centuries. It was the Greeks who brought the Muscat grape to Beaumes-de-Venise in the Middle Ages, and it's the Muscat grape...
Gordes is primarily known for its impressive location on top of a small cliff. At first glance, it looks as if the village may at any moment crash from the top of the cliff to which the houses cling. But over the centuries, this distinctive location has greatly helped the city's defenses. Gordes has had an extremely interesting past. It has...
