Magnificent view near the village of Tredozio in northern Tuscany
This charming villa is part of a large estate that can be dated back to the 1500 century. It is set in a wonderful position, overlooking the ridges of the Appenines, on the border of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. From every room of the house there is a spectacular view down and across the valley of lakes, woods and farm fields.
Emilia Romagna is the region of good food like: Tortellini, Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and Ravioli are all from this area. Tredozio itself, the small town at the foot of the hill, has restaurants, shops and tennis courts. Tredozio also hosts concerts during the summer ranging from Jazz to Chamber music.
The villa has two levels, with three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large sitting room with a working fireplace, separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen and a utility room with a washing machine. The garden can be accessed from all rooms by the French windows, that make the house feel delightfully airy in the summer.
The old pizza oven has been carefully kept and can be used for cooking real wood-fired oven pizzas. The swimming pool is on a higher level than the house and enjoys the same spectacular views.
The house owner, the Countess Maria Teresa Vespignani Boselli's grandfather was a famous sculptor, Giuseppe Graziosi. In Modena there is a glyptotheque in his name. The Countess might surprise guests with a tour of the main house and Graziosis works dsplayed in the house.
Guests will be welcomed by a complimentary bottle of La Collina's own wine.
For stays of more than a week, a change of bed linen and towels is provided. The pool will be cleaned every day by the gardener.
It is possible to have dinners prepared on request.
Local products such as: honey, cheese, eggs, olive oil, vegetables, chickens and rabbits are grown and produced on the estate and can be purchased directly.
Flexible arrival day, with the exception for bookings for the month of July and August.

The churches inside the town walls were built in the 12th and 13th centuries and the imposing wall itself dates back to the 16th century. It is one of Europe’s best-preserved Renaissance ramparts and an evening walk here is very much worth doing. Lucca is an exciting city for shopping with lots of clothes and jeweller’s shops. The medieval...

The city is divided by the alga-green Arno river. Along the river, beautiful palaces were built in the 16th century. Nowadays, they hide the humble constructions, built behind. Today Pisa is world famous for its Leaning Tower: Torre Pendente. The construction of the tower was initiated in the 12th century and finished in 1350. Shortly after...
