Located in peaceful surroundings at Tredozio with beautiful views
This villa built in mid 18th century is now separated into two large apartments, each covering an entire floor of the villa that can be used together or as separate apartments. A deconsecrated chapel (see our ref. i5.513) from the same period is on the ground and here two additional people can sleep.
Emilia Romagna is the region of good food like: Tortellini, Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and Ravioli are all from this area. Tredozio itself, the small town at the foot of the hill, has restaurants, shops and tennis courts. Tredozio also hosts concerts during the summer ranging from Jazz to Chamber music.
The villa contains seven bedrooms: two double bedrooms and five twin bedded rooms with four complete modern bathrooms. The view from all of the spacious rooms is spectacular.
Ground floor apartment: one double bedded room, two twin bedded rooms and two bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. The charming sitting room and the adjoining, fully equipped, live-in, country kitchen have double doors out to a terrace and a table for outdoor dining overlooking the beautiful views. This floor is joined internally to the first floor from a common entrance hall which also contains a restored, working pizza oven.
1st floor apartment: one double room and three twin bedded rooms, including a studio room with a sleeping gallery and a mezzanine bedroom and two complete modern bathrooms with bathtub and shower. The large living room in the centre of the house and separate, adjoining dining room and fully equipped kitchen afford a gracious space for living and entertaining. The antique dining table opens to seat at least 12 people.
The large swimming pool is set in a spacious garden overlooking the surrounding valleys in all directions. Outdoor dining furniture, garden furniture and lounge chairs are supplied for all guests.The pool is shared with the tenants of the small chapell that also is located on the same plot(ref. i5.513). A car park is discretely out of sight.
The layout of the house makes it easy to use all the rooms comfortably as a large group. All the rooms are decorated with art, prints and artworks to make the house warm and interesting.
The house owner, the Countess Maria Teresa Vespignani Boselli's grandfather was a famous sculptor, Giuseppe Graziosi. In Modena there is a glyptotheque in his name. The Countess might surprise guests with a tour of the main house and Graziosis works dsplayed in the house.
Guests will be welcomed by a complimentary bottle of La Collina own wine.
For stays of more than a week, a change of bed linen and towels is provided. The pool will be cleaned every day by the gardener.
It is possible to have dinners prepared on request.
Local products such as: honey, cheese, eggs, olive oil, vegetables, chickens and rabbits are grown and produced on the estate and can be purchased directly.
Flexible arrival day, with the exception for bookings for the month of July and August.
