Holiday apartment with views in the idyllic little village of Buggio
Holiday home for 9 persons
Tastefully decorated apartment with fantastic views from the terrace
Spend your holiday in the Italian dream. Discover the real Italian life in the idyllic village Buggio, with only half a hour drive from the hustle and bustle of the mundane stretch of coastline between Monaco and Sanremo. Buggio lies peacefully amidst a unique natural area that has the highest biodiversity of southeastern Europe. Fig trees grow wild among old olive trees.
Buggio is a charming medieval village with houses built together and on top of each other, and small cobbled streets with almost no traffic, apart from tractors.
Not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
The property is a large town house with two apartments, tastefully decorated (see the other ref. nr. i1.105a too).
These apartments can be rented together (see i1.105) to accommodate 13 people.
The top floor is a unique penthouse apartment spanning two antique houses.
One part consists of a large kitchen/dining area with access to a large roof terrace. Here you can gather friends and family all around the long table, enjoying wine, baking pizzas in the stone oven or simply be enchanted by the panoramic views. Close to the kitchen/dining area there is also a lovely living room with more than six meters to the ceiling. One double bedroom and bathroom with shower and toilet.
The second part of the penthouse apartment has 3 rooms: a large bedroom with king-size bed and direct access to a private terrace, cosy room with 1 single bed and 2 children beds (about 170 cm. long), double bedroom and bathroom with toilet and shower. All rooms have nice views.
There is neither TV nor radio in the house.
In Pigna (nearest small town, 5 km. from the house), there are two cafes with free Wi-Fi.
Only 3 km. from the house there is a an enchanting little lake with waterfalls. If you prefer the sea, it is about a 25 minutes drive from the house. In the area there are many charming middle age villages with markets and good restaurants. Provence is close, as the famous Barolo wines and Piemonte.
