Located within walking distance of the historic center of Greve in Chianti
The main feature of "The Old Pasta Factory" is the perfect isolation from the outside although being located inside a country village. It is situated in the nearness of the historical square of Greve “Piazza Matteotti”, close to restaurants, cafes, shops, and it is a green oasis in the heart of the village, being surrounded by a peaceful wide garden with swimming-pool and a vineyard with gazebos, barbeques, hammocks and a playground for children.
Built in 1810 and neglected for over 50 years, the property has been recently restored and converted into a Residence without compromising the traditional Tuscan features, such as the antique frescoed walls, beamed wooden or vaulted ceilings, original terracotta floors. The building, divided into two different parts, "The Yellow Pasta Factory" and "The Orange Pasta Factory", offers various solutions of stay.
All the apartments and bedrooms of the "Orange Pasta Factory" can take advantage of a big terrace where people can stay any time to read, to talk, to lunch and dine in the open air. The apartments of the "Yellow Pasta Factory" also have a private space outdoor on a terrace by the pool. Each apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished with style.
In the charming "Antico Pastificio" of Greve, you will breath in a pleasant country atmosphere and the history of this part of Tuscany. Greve is located between Firenze (22 Km) and Siena (34 Km) and also close to famous places like: Certaldo, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and many others. The most well-known towns of Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo) are within 100 Km far more or less.
In the surroundings of Greve, it is possible to take nice walks, horse riding and cycling in a splendid countryside. All guests can participate to organized mountain-bike tours, recommended shopping in the outlets, cooking or pottery lessons and many other activities according to the period. Organized dinners in the vineyard take place from July till September on request of our guests. Walking paths start from the village for a beautiful tour in the surrounding hills.
They also offer the following servises on request: transfers from/to Pisa Airport, Firenze Airport, from/to the train station in Florence. Taxi service from/to Greve and Panzano, organized tours and visits to the museums, cooking classes and wine tasting tours.

Guests can enjoy the large terrace, where guests can stay and dine al fresco. Apartments in the yellow building also have access to the terrace by the pool.
The apartments in the yellow building do NOT have air conditioning due to the very thick walls, which keep the apartments cool.
