Situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside with vineyards, olive groves and large wooded areas
Tucked away in a less known part of Tuscany undiscovered by crowds of tourists, this beautiful villa is located among the hilly tuscan landscape, only 2 km from the medieval village of Montelopio. This beautiful landscape is dotted with olive groves, vines, fields of wheat and sunflowers and woodlands with both wild boars, foxes and deers.From here you can reach the main cities and the many historical sights within 1 hours drive and it is a perfect starting point to discover Tuscany.
Although the villa is situated in the countryside there is a nearby restaurant only 500 m from the villa. More restaurants, a few shops, cafées, bank, a post office, a pharmacy and a doctor can be found only a few km away and in the village of Peccioli there is a supermarket and some interesting shops.
The villa is surrounded by a landscaped garden of 5.000 m2 with traditional Tuscan flora. It is enclosed by Mediterranean shrub hedges and an electric gate secure the parking.
In the garden you will also find the beautiful pool surrounded by a sundeck with plenty of sun loungers and garden furniture. In one end of the pool there is a hydro-massage zone where you can lay down and relax. A part of the pool only has a dept of 40 cm and is perfect for the smallest children. At the pool side there is also a gazebo with armchairs and sofas for those who prefer the shade.
The villa is in 2 floors and consists of a ground-floor with a well-equipped kitchen, living room/dining room with large table, sofas and armchairs, another living room with sofas, armchairs and a rustic fireplace, 1 bathroom equipped for the disabled, 1 bedroom with double bed and private bathroom with shower. From the kitchen and living room there is direct access to an open porch sheltered by a wrought iron pergola where you can enjoy your outdoor meals.
A wrought iron staircase leads up to the 1st floor. On the 1st floor there is 2 bedrooms with single beds and possibility for 1 extra bed in each bedroom, 1 bedroom with double bed + 1 extra bed. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower.
A spiral staircase leads up to a tower which looms from the center of the roof. This small room has been converted into a comfortable lounge with a panoramic view over the hilly landscape.
