Villa la Fonte is a beautiful holiday villa located in the heart of the Tuscan hills near the hamlet of Pillo and very close to the Medieval village of Gambassi Terme along the pilgrimage route of Via Francigena. Within 30 min drive you will reach the historic towns of Volterra and San Gimignano and both Montaione and Castelfiorentino can be reached within a short drive.
The villa is located on a large private plot with olive groves, plants and other typical Tuscan trees. The villa is very private and has no vis-à-vis neighbors at the pool and terraces. The pool is very large and is surrounded by a sun terrace with plenty of sun loungers. Next to the villa there is a very cozy covered terrace with dining table, BBQ and pizza oven. Access to the villa via electric gates. Parking for several cars.
The property consists of a main villa for 10 persons and the Dependence for 4 persons. The beautiful country house has been transformed into a wonderful villa which still preserves its origins and history with its typical Tuscan ceilings, floors and furniture.
The main villa is in 3 floors and consists of a ground-floor with a big kitchen, a dining room with a historical fireplace where farmers used to sit to get warm, a sitting room, a reading room with built-in fireplace, a bathroom and the laundry. On the upper floors there is 5 bedrooms (2 of them en-suite) – 4 of them with private bathrooms.
The Dependence is in 2 floors and consists of a ground-floor with living room/dining room with open kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. The 1st floor (mezzanine) has a bedroom with double bed. Large covered terrace with garden furniture.
All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets in the windows.
In all periods the villa can be rented without the depandance house for a max. of 10 persons. In this case the following amount will be deducted from the rental amount:
27/2 - 24/4 and 16/10 - 6/11- 500 EUR
5/5 - 23/5 and 26/9 - 17/10 - 450 EUR
23/5 - 27/6 and 29/5 - 26/9 - 430 EUR
27/6 - 29.8 - 665 EUR
