Beautiful and peaceful setting

The Malagronda Country Resort is located on a hill close to Città della Pieve close to the border of Umbria and Tuscany. From here you can enjoy the magnificent view over the surrounding country side and the spectacular sunsets. On a clear day you can see the bell towers of Città della Pieve, Amiata and Cetona Mountain. With this location you are close to the Tuscan Val d´Orcia (famous for its “Nobile” wine) and the Monte Pausillo´s National Park. You are also close to the big Lake Trasimeno where you can go for a swim and some of the prettiest hamlets in Italy: Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Castiglione del Lago and Chianciano Terme.

The country resort consists of a total of 6 separate houses and apartments and is surrounded by lawns and trees. In the big park you will find a swimming pool with panoramic views, a barbeque area, a playground for the small children with slide and swings, ping pong table and a mini pitch for football. On site there is also a shared laundry room and a community room with books and board games. If you want to explore the area by foot you can also take a walk in the surrounding forest.

Apartment QUERCIA is located on the ground floor of the country house. It has its own covered terrace with garden furniture.

The apartment is in 1 level and consists of a living room with 2 single sofa bed and open plan kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms.

Outside the high season (1.9 – 22.6) the apartments can be rented for less than a week. Please ask us for prices and availability.
