Following the Covid-19 global pandemic, Provacances is closely monitoring the current situation. As rental agency, focusing on rental of holiday homes in France and Italy, we are directly affected by the situation. Every year we welcome guests from all over Europe and therefore we will continuously keep track of the evolving situation in each country.
Do you have a reservation in 2020?
We will keep you informed by email as the situation develops. This means that you will receive an email when your arrival is getting nearer.
If you have a reservation with arrival in June or later this year, it is currently difficult to say if there will still be lock downs or other restrictions to be followed. Therefore, we are at the moment compelled to await further developments in order to handle your booking the best way possible, considering the circumstances at this point.
Would you still like to cancel your reservation although the time of arrival is not imminent?
In this case, our general cancellation policy applies. This means that you will lose the deposit already paid when making the reservation. More information about our cancellation conditions can be found here.
Does Provacances’ illness cancellation insurance cover in this case?
If you cancel due to the Covid-19 outbreak, you are unfortunately not covered by the illness insurance automatically included in the rental price. The insurance only covers acute illness, death or injury caused by an accident. You can find more details about our illness insurance by consulting our general rental conditions. Instead, we recommend that you contact your own insurance company to check if you are covered.
Is it possible to book a holiday home for 2021?
Almost all our holiday homes have open calendars for reservations in 2021. You are very welcome to visit our website and make your reservations for next year.
