Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Vaucluse, the Var, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of the Drôme and the Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d´Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Forming a magnificent, rugged backdrop is the Grandes Rousses massif. You need only 45 minutes from Grenoble to arrive at Vaujany. Blending tradition and modernity, Vaujany proposes visitors - top-class skiing, swimming, skating and trekking facilities amongst an unspoilt environment in beautiful mountain landscapes.
Vaujany takes great pride in it's efforts and success in conserving its traditional Alpine authenticity at the same time as offering these in such a palatable form to both winter and summer vacationers. Visit the village, discover the fountain or the ancient Bellfrey. Also there are the traditional, almost unchanged alpine small mountain farms or crofts proposing mountain goat and cow cheese, fresh butter, milk, honey and fruit conserves.
