Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Vaucluse, the Var, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of the Drôme and the Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d´Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. A very beautiful Provencal house situated in a beautiful and vigorous nature. Surrounded by green mountains and within walking distance of Nyons. The area is known for having 300 sunshine days per year. And the sun is shining on the lovely wine yards, olive groves, lavender fields and fruit trees.
The house is situated in a large and lovely garden facing south. The garden, surrounded by tall green hedges, is filled with flowering bushes, old fruit-, olive-, and mimosa trees and some palm trees. Pool, two terraces, one with roof and dining place, the other one with parasol.
The house is beautifully decorated and furnished in the local Provencal style. Very nice tile floors, double windows with mosquito net, fireplace and floor heating in the wintertime.
The house consists of: a large room with living, dining place and a well equipped kitchen in one. Three bedrooms on the floor level, 1 with double bed and 2 with single beds. On the first floor one bedroom with 3 single beds. 3 nice bathrooms of which a small one is on the 1st floor
You only need a minimum of luggage: Here you find bed linen, bathroom and kitchen towels, table cloths, baby equipments, toys, books, magazines, music and DVDs for all ages. The contact person is always available with good advices and information about sights, wine shopping, markets and other practical information. You can rent bikes nearby. The contact person speaks Danish, English and French.
