Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Vaucluse, the Var, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of the Drôme and the Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d´Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. This beautiful villa is found on the summit of the city’s hill, from where you can admire a really unforgettable panorama over the hills of the city below, the entire Valdichiana with its surrounding hills and a beautiful section of Lake Trasimeno.
The villa faces the small square of the property and is spread over 3 levels, with a completely fenced private garden of around 500 m2. The villa is one of the oldest of the city and was restored a few years ago, and is furnished with notable Tuscan style furniture, some of which is antique. The first part of the garden that is in front of the villa is furnished with outdoor furniture, suitable for open-air dinners and has a fresh breeze that is supplied by the plants, the second part has sun beds with very large shady plants.
Ground floor: The entrance to the villa welcomes guest into a entrance area with an original fireplace from the 1300’s, a suite made up of a double bedroom, a small living room, a small kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and access to the villa’s garden.
1st floor: An internal staircase leads into a large room that on one side is used as a living area with lounges, armchairs, satellite TV, on the other is a fitted cooking area supplied with all the electric appliances, a dining table and a panoramic terrace with a staircase leading into the garden. Also on the first floor is a beautiful double bedroom with a canopy bed, an en-suite bathroom with a hydro-massage shower, a lounge room with a well supplied bookcase and another double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a hydro-massage shower.
2nd floor: A double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a hydro-massage shower, a living room with a well supplied bookcase and another double bedroom with a en-suite bathroom with a hydro-massage shower.
