House/Villa Barga

This holiday house consists of a main farmhouse and a barn, of which both have been restored to an extremely high standard, using original materials wherever possible. Situated in an Estate of 16 hectares of farmland mainly olive groves and vineyards, with wonderful views at every turn, this property is a perfect rural retreat only 10 minute drive from the medieval town of Barga, with its cobbled streets, duomos, and ancient architecture. Barga is well known for its good quality but reasonably priced restaurants, and often outdoor concerts (mainly classical and jazz) are performed in the evenings, along with firework displays. Closer to home and within easy walking distance is the village of Albiano with its good restaurant and shop.

This property is finished to a wonderful standard and is a real treat. There are terracotta floors, chestnut beamed ceilings, fireplace, traditional quality furniture and fabrics, all perfectly blended with the comforts required for a modern holiday. The swimming pool is new, has steps for relaxing/paddling, and again boasts stunning views - the perfect place to relax.

If required the owners can arrange helicopter tours of the area, or a helicopter transfer from Pisa airport for those special occasions; there is horse riding; possibility to arrange for daily cleaning; meals can be cooked in the function room or gardens of the estate. Ideal for a honey moon, or for a larger group sharing a special occasion. This is a wonderful property!

The main house, 130 m2– 6 persons:

Two double rooms, one twin room and two bathrooms (one en suite). The upstairs bedroom also has private lounge. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a large living area. For outdoor dining there is an additional kitchen located on the ground floor next to the external eating area BBQ. Private garden. Swimming pool (10 x 5) from which one can enjoy spectacular views of the entire valley.

The Annex, 80 m2 – 2 persons

One double room with bathroom en suite with a jacuzzi tub. Outside the bedroom there is a covered veranda. Open living-dining-kitchen area with a fireplace. Outside it has its own private garden, eating area and BBQ.
