House/Villa Lucca

In the wonderful landscape around Lucca where the most splendid historical residences were built in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries this ancient hunting lodge has been superbly restored.

This marvelous location is perfect for a holiday immersed in natural beauty which is enhanced and accompanied by the sounds of the rustling of the leaves and birdsong. An an intelligent blend of ancient and modern Villa La Volpe is furnished with Tuscan antiques while boasting centralized air conditioning and satellite TV.

Villa La Volpe comfortably and discreetly accommodates up to 20 people. The villa can also be divided into 2 separate apartments, Ada and Michele that can accommodate up to 10 people each.

The villa is surrounded by 2.500 acres of greenery; olive groves, pomegranate and citrus trees; oleanders, hibiscus and petunias bloom in the illuminated garden. From the two verandas, an ideal setting for summer wining and dining, stairs wind down between flower beds to a fully equipped and illuminated swimming pool situated on a terrace that is sun-blessed from dawn to dusk.

The grounds of the villa offers several sunny and shaded terraces for dining or relaxing outdoors: The old wood table at the large shaded terrace can perfectly host up to 20 people. Breakfasts, lunches and aperitifs can be enjoyed at one of the two gazebos. The large swimming pool is just a few stone steps down from the terraces. Two fully equipped barbecues. Rosemary, sage, basil, figs, grapes, oleanders, hibiscus and petunias bloom in the completely enclosed and illuminated garden.

The Villa consists of two spacious attached country homes (Casa Ada and Casa Michele) that can be rented all together as a villa with 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms.

Casa Ada consists of 4 perfectly decorated double bedrooms on the 1st floor, with comfortable beds. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. On the ground floor there is another bedroom with bathroom suitable for disabled persons. Nice living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen.

Casa Michele consists of 4 perfectly decorated double bedrooms on the 1st floor, with comfortable beds. 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a private bathroom, living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. Outside each house has a veranda with barbecue. Outside facilities: swimming pool, a children playground, table tennis, open air gym and gazebo.

Included in the rental price: welcome dinner, cleaning om Monday and Wednesday, gardener who will be coming daily to clean the pool and the barbecue area, weekly cleaning every Saturday with change of bedlinen and towels.

Use of heating, air condition, and telephone must be paid on location.
