Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. This 250 m2 stone villa restored in 1999 is situated separately on the lands of Tenuta san Vito surrounded by vineyards. The house consists on the ground floor of a large livingroom with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are 7 double rooms each with private bathroom.
On the ground floor there is a separat apartment for 2-4 persons included in the rental. The apartment consists of a living room with fireplace, a sofabed for 2 persons and a kitchenet. 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. The private garden with a private swimming pool offers a pleasant corner of relax.
The winery Tenuta San Vito is situated 15 km south of Florence in the middle of vinedistrict of Chianti Fiorentino. Tenuta San Vito has since 1982 produced wines and olive oils on the basis of the old Tuscan tradition and modern technology in organic cultivation. This means that all products are grown organically without the use of chemicals.
The villa is located 300 meters along a beautiful cypresallé from Tenuta San Vitos own restaurant in Podere la Querce. It offers Tuscan and vegetarian food exclusively prepared with organic products. The restaurant also offers buffet breakfast. Tenuta San Vito also has a shop with its own products and offering guided tours of olive and wine tasting. The place is ideal for a relaxing vacation and while plenty of opportunity to visit the many attractions within a short distance and discover the magic of the Tuscan countryside.
Special offer for June
Upon arrival in the whole month of June 2012 (except June 30) there will be a four-course welcome dinner in the restaurant (excluding drinks). Also invited to get to wine tasting on Tuesday with a visit to the wine cellar.
