Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Cottage located on a winery in the outskirts of the town Limoux, in the heart of the Cathar country, the nature and in an environment known for its relatively cool summers. Ideal starting point for many hikes and attractions, both natural and cultural. Close to the famous citadel of Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Cathar castles and the famous mystery of Abbey Saunier from Rennes-le-Chateau (mentioned in The Da Vinci Code). The nature offers big forests, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, white water sports, tennis, etc.
The house is located among Blanquette de Limoux vineyards. On the winery there is opportunity for wine tasting and walks in the vineyards. Large totally restored Mas of 250 m2, decorated with good taste, Ceiling height of 4m and spacious rooms. Private pool. Since the Mas is located on an active winery, there are other houses on the spot.
Holiday home in 2 levels that contains: ground floor with hall, large living room with fireplace, spacious kitchen-dining room, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Beautiful staircase to the 1st floor which contains: 1 double bedroom, bathroom with tub and private toilet, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and access to a bedroom with 2 beds, 1 bathroom with tub and private toilet.
Consumption of electricity / water is included in the price from June to October. In other periods 40 EUR/week for electricity and 40 EUR/week to heat.
