Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Typical Tuscan “farm” from the 1800’s located in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Pienza in the province of Siena, and in the Val d’Orcia Natural Park nominated by UNESCO as a human patrimony. Situated 500 mt above sea level it has a unique view over the Crete Sienese, Pienza, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, etc.
The farm is surrounded by a large and green garden with a swimming pool covered in travertine, inspired by the Bagno Vignoni pool.
The farm consists of a principal building used for habitation, a building for housing tools and equipment and a large garden. The farmhouse has two floors elevated above ground with a total area of 400 m2.
The internal decoration is typical for Tuscan farmhouses: floors in terracotta, doors in solid chestnut wood, visible wooden beams etc. The furnishings are typically Tuscan with old furniture, that has been salvaged and completely restored.
The farmhouse is in 2 levels and contains: Two lounge areas with televisions, kitchen, 6 bedroom, 6 bathrooms (all with hairdryers). It is really an ideal place for a country holiday and has large common spaces both internally and externally, which makes is perfect for more than one family.
On request daily cleaning by the hour can be arranged.
