This villa built in the mid 18th century and recently restored is separated into two large apartments, each covering an entire floor of the villa – that can be used together or as separate apartments. A deconsecrated chapel (see our ref. i5.513) from the same period is on the ground and can sleep an additional two people.
The large swimming pool, shared by all the house, is set in a spacious garden overlooking the surrounding valleys in all directions. Outdoor dining furniture and garden furniture and lounge chairs are supplied for all guests. A car park is discretely out of sight.
Emilia Romagna is the region of good cooking: Tortellini, Parma ham, Parmesan cheese, Bolognese sauce, Ravioli are all from this area. Tredozio itself, the small town at the foot of the hill, boasts a Michelin starred restaurant whose chef will come and cook for you on request. Tredozio also hosts concerts during the summer ranging from Jazz to Chamber music, and has tennis courts, shops and restaurants.
Ground floor apartment:
One double bedded room and two twin bedded rooms and two bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. The charming sitting room and the adjoining, fully equipped, live-in, country kitchen have double doors out to a terrace and a table for outdoor dining overlooking the beautiful views. This floor is joined internally to the first floor at a common entrance hall which also contains a restored, working pizza oven.
The house owner, the Countess Maria Teresa Vespignani Boselli's grandfather was a famous sculptor, Giuseppe Graziosi. In Modena there is a glyptotheque in his name. The Countess might surprise guests with a tour of the main house and Graziosis works dsplayed in the house.
Guests will be welcomed by a complimentary bottle of La Collina own wine.
For stays of more than a week, a change of bed linen and towels is provided. The pool will be cleaned every day by the gardener.
It is possible to have dinners prepared on request.
Local products such as: honey, cheese, eggs, olive oil, vegetables, chickens and rabbits are grown and produced on the estate and can be purchased directly.
