Villa Paradiso

A charming and relaxing holiday in complete privacy in an ancient Umbrian convent, which has been completely restored and transformed into Villa Paradiso. The villa lies within a farm that has belonged to the owners for more than a century, who were caught by the beauty of the ancient convent situated on the top of a hill, from where it is possible to admire the entire Umbra valley. The city of Foligno is 2 km from the villa, which can easily be reach by the main road, where you will find restaurants, banks, supermarkets, post office, pharmacies and petrol stations.

The estate is around 30 hectares, principally made up of olive groves but there is also a large area for the cultivation of grain. It is possible to walk in the greenery of the Umbrian hills until the Abbey of Sassovivo or until the nearby springs, or relax on the side of the swimming pool in the large private garden of almost 1 hectare shaded by the hundred year old olive trees.

On the ground floor the ancient convent has maintained its function as the entrance to the villa, from where there is access into a living room with an elegant dining room with French doors, living room with lounges and a fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player, a reading room with lounges and armchairs. In the small ancient chapel, now deconsecrated, has been placed a beautiful pool table. On the other side of the cloister, a large kitchen has been made with an exit into the garden where there is a large table with chairs and large umbrellas. One bathroom with shower and toilet.

On the upper floor are found three bedrooms, three double bedrooms and one bedroom with 1 single bed, a bathroom with a shower and a bathroom with a bath.

In the ancient stall and barn of the convent there have been created 2 apartments, each one with a lounge room with Sat. TV and DVD Player, a cooking corner with a range with 4 hobs, sink, and electric oven, kettle and toaster, Apartment 1 has 1 double bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds. Apartment 2 has 1 double bedroom. Both with a bathroom with a shower.
