Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. The villa is located in the very heart of the Chianti area, near the little village of San Polo in Chianti, famous above all for its centuries old iriscultivation, to which it has dedicated a festival held annually in the month of May. Tuscany is the land of wine and sun and San Polo is located right in the heart of Tuscany. It is situated between the two great cities of Art, Florence and Siena.
You can travel around knowing that when you come back to the villa you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views and the peace of this green oasis, specially at sunset time, when you can go up in the panoramic terrace and admire these breathtaking landscapes while drinking a glass of the best Chianti wines.
La Pietraccia, best known as the "Sunset House," is an independent Villa suitable for six people. Originally, it was a hay loft and now it has been restored into a beautiful house with all modern comforts and amenities.
Entering the villa there is a characteristic living room with a large sofa in front of the TV. A few steps down, there is the kitchen with dishwasher and dining room which is spacious and comfortable. There are three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and three bathrooms, two of them with shower and one with a bath-tub. Laundry room with a washing machine.
Panoramic private pool. From both the pool and the terrace you can admire the beautiful sunset.
