Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Carefully restored villa located in the Val Di Chiana, within walking distance of the village of Pozzo Della Chiana. The house is located just outside the village of Pozzo in a panoramic and quiet position of the Val di Chiana. It is close to the towns of Cortona, Castiglion, Fiorentino, Foiano della Chiana, Marciano, Lucignano and Monte San Savino - all of them about 15 minute’s drive. Its strategic position allows clients to reach cities of art and the most well known tourist attraction in Tuscany and Umbria in a short time.
The gardens are beautifully maintained in a classic Italian style with box wood hedges and cypress. The large pool is located in a sunny spot, surrounded by grass and olive trees. Behind the house, there is a large olive grove with children’s play area.
XVIII century structure, typical of the Tuscan countryside, the building has been skilfully restored leaving the special original features untouched. The villa is quite large with 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and would be a good choice for a family reunion or a few families traveling together. The property consists of 3 apartments but is rented as a whole villa. The owner has restored the house to a high standard creating a friendly warm atmosphere.
