Large pool villa nearby Lucca

This beautiful villa is gracefully furnished with precious pieces of furniture among which some wonderful Italian antiques. It is the result of the skilful renovation of an ancient farmhouse. The villa is located in a 10-hectare land, on the top of one of Lucca countryside hills, just a few minutes from the town’s historical centre and from other important cities of Tuscany like Pisa, Florence and Siena, containing artistic treasures certainly worth discovering.

Woods with tall and leafy trees like oaks, pines and chestnut-trees, a perfect opportunity for pleasant walks, sheltered from the summer heat, during which you can meet the little inhabitants of the wood: squirrels, foxes, porcupines and a wide variety of birds such as blackbirds, sparrows and nightingales.

...and the most imaginative visitors, especially children, are likely to meet the Linchetto, the teasing elf of the Tuscan woods...

The olive-grove surrounding the garden along the crest of the hill, produces each year an excellent and tasty olive oil. Ask the landlords and they will happily let taste this oil. There’s nothing better than a slice of toasted bread spirnkled with olive oil!

The large beaches of Versilia are within reach, and so are the historical seaside promenades of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, known for its stylish high-fashion boutiques and liberty-style lounges and cafés.

The hills nearby Montecarlo and Garfagnana offer interesting wine-gastronomic itineraries, while the world-renowned thermal resort of Montecatini will guarantee the necessary relax to your holiday. Children should not miss a visit to Pinocchio’s magic world of fairytales in Collodi!

You can relax in the shade of the lime-trees or sun-bathe along the beautiful private swimming pool. The garden surrounding the house is well-attended, with many varieties of flowers like roses, geraniums, hydrangeas, which pleases both the eye and the mind. The pool is also equipped with night lighting and every possible comfort:: deck-chairs, private solarium, garden tables and chairs, outdoor shower, restroom and dressing room.
By the pool there is an heated hot tub for five adults.

The house can sleep up to 13+1 people:
Basement: from the living room a staircase gives access to the beautiful taverna, with a large fireplace, TV, sofas. The taverna opens onto a large, covered, fully-equipped terrace. There are 2 double beds and 1 single bed. 1 bathroom (wc and shower).

Ground floor: a large living room with fireplace , sat TV , DVD and wi-fi internet connection; the room gives access to a large veranda on the garden. Spacious kitchen with table, oven, freezer, dish-washer, microwave. Bathroom with WC and double wash basins. Next to the veranda, there is a useful laundry-room equipped with washing-machine, basin and clothes-line.

First floor: Four bedroom, 2 with double beds both with their own bathroom (shower and bath), and 2 with 2 single beds each. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. 1 bathroom with bath/jacuzzi and double wash basins. One of bathrooms is provided with Jacuzzi.

If needed an extra bed can be added to any of the bedrooms upon request.

The owners live in an independent small cottage near the villa and are at disposal if needed.
