Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. The house was part of a complex of haylofts, that have been completely renovated, in the hills east of Lucca. Views of the hills, olive groves, surrounding vineyards and of the town of Lucca.
The house is characterized by a perfect mix between antique and modern furniture, with big spaces. In the living room there is a game table. From the terrace it is possible to enjoy the sun, and the view on the surrounding hills and the towers of Lucca. Down by the pool, it is possible to have lunches under the shade of the gazebo.
Gound floor: large living room with fireplace, and access to the terrace and garden, dining area with large dining table, a wide kitchen (with oven, fridge, dishwasher and other small appliances) with fireplace, laundry room and WC.
1st floor: 1 double bedroom with bath, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 twin bedroom with 2 french beds (140 x 190 cm.), 1 bathroom with jacuzzi and 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower.
Air conditioning in the bedrooms and in the living room. The driveway/front terrace is completely fenced. Under the veranda there is the kennel where the dogs can sleep.
There is a bus stop 2 km. from the house, the bus heads to Lucca (it runs every 20 minutes).
It is possible to arrange lunches and dinners.
