Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. The villa is situated only 700 m from the old and charming village La Roquette where you amongst other things can get your bread in the morning or fresh vegetables. There is also a post office, a pharmacy and a local bar, where you can enjoy a glass of the local wine. Only 15 min. away (by car) you will find the famous film festival city of Cannes. A few kilometres away are Mougins and Moans Sartoux with many good restaurants and shops.
The two story Provancal style villa is furnished partly in modern style. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with two single beds). The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom. The floor contains, furthermore, a bathroom with bath/shower and a separate toilet. From two of the three bedrooms you have a view to the sea over the hills with eucalyptus trees, or if you prefer a view to the mountains you will find this on the upper terrace. A Provancal kitchen, a spacious living room, a dining room with open fireplace and a separate toilet are located on the first floor, from where you also have a view to the Mediterranean. From the well-equipped kitchen you can easily get to the calm green dining area on the yard side via the barbeque place (Weber gas grill).
The decorative pool with sun beds is located on the seaside of the house. On the open terrace in front of the house you can relax in a soft sofa and enjoy your holiday.
