Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. The villa is located in a typical mountain village (850 m. above sea level) in Garfagnana. The guests can enjoy a panoramic view over the Apuan Alps, both from the pool and both from the loggias.
The Pania di Corfino (1.603 m.) is close to the villa, like the Orecchiella Natural Park, which is just outside Massa Sassorosso. Massa Sassorosso is an oasis of peace and relax, among the Apuan Alps, the Tuscan Apennine and the Serchio river valley.
The villa has been finely renovated respecting its original style and by using traditional materials, such as terracotta tiles, stone and wood.
Ground floor: living/dining room, kitchenette, 1 bedroom with double bed and a single bed, 1 bathroom with shower.
First floor: a large stone staircase brings up to the next level. Living room with fireplace, large kitchen with fireplace, 1 toilette. Furnished loggia.
