Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. House for 6 persons near Lucca in Tuscany
South facing holiday home, situated in the heart of the Northern Tuscan countryside, only 9 km from the charming and unique medieval village of Lucca. The villa is situated at the end of a gravel road and is surrounded by olive groves and forest. From the holiday home and pool area, there is a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and the Tuscan hills.
The villa is an old restored barn house furnished and decorated in a very attractive style. From here you can enjoy the Tuscan countryside and its magnificent weather. The villa has a terrace of 30 m2 with beautiful views and a pool only a few steps away from the house, separated by a wall of blossoming oleander bushes that provide a colourful backdrop all summer long.
The villa is in 2 levels and contains a ground-floor with kitchen and dining table, large sitting room with sofas and dining table for 8 persons, a small sitting room with sofa and armchairs. This room can easily house 2 extra guests. Bathroom with shower and toilet, bedroom with 2 single beds, laundry room and a storage room. A staircase leads you up to the 1st floor that contains: 1 bedroom with 2 single beds that can easily be put together as a double bed. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. 1 master bedroom with double bed and 1 bathroom with bathtub.
Please notice!!! As the villa is situated in the countryside and access to the villa is by an uneven gravel road, you should consider not to arrive in a sports car or another low-riding vehicle.
It is possible to rent the house for up to 8 persons. Please contact us for the prices.
A daily housekeeping service is offered (except on Sundays). The housekeeper will pass by and clean the house (not the kitchen area). Other services like laundry, ironing, cooking and baby sitting can be provided at an extra cost.
