The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Unique town house near charming village

As the former bishop´s residence from the 14th century, this property gives a breath of history with a lot of charm and romance on its 4 levels with outer walls of roughly hewn stone and high ceilings.
The street level has a big airy space with a bathroom with shower and toilet and a practical laundry room. Stairs are leading up the living-room that features 4-meter high ceilings, traditionally handcrafted with plaster and wooden slats, a wonderful stone wall and a romantic fireplace. And further a dining area with an open kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, both spacious and bright and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The top floor is located under the roof beams as a very cozy home office or a private guest-suite. This medieval townhouse has been completely and very carefully restored and renovated with taste and excellent craftsmanship.
The house is not suitable for small children.
