Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Podere San Gaetano is the typical house in bricks maintaining the local features of the past, made precious from the modern comforts. The property, recently totally restored, is composed by two independent houses, one of which is for guests use while the other is sometimes used by the owners. The house has a large outside portico, well equipped for meals, and a large independent garden. The swimming pool is placed in a quiet position and surrounded by olive trees, and it is occasionally used by the owners.
