Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. This lovely property has been split into 3 apartments right on the sea front at the end of the village of Molunat; it faces directly onto the sea and has its own concrete jetty with sun loungers for sunbathing on or swimming off. There is a good pebble beach about 1km away where you will also find a few bars and restaurants such as 'Monika' and 'Villa Marin', and the nearest shop is only 300 metres. Only 20 minutes away is restaurant 'Konavoski Dvori' set beside waterfalls.
Molunat is at the very end of Croatia near to Montenegro, 45 minutes south of Dubrovnik with its fabulous old city walls and medieval buildings. From there you can easily climb aboard any number of boats going to the Islands of Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. A bit nearer is the Mediterranean town of Cavtat. You can also go to nearby Mlini which has a lovely long beach.
This property is split into 3 levels on each of which is an air-conditioned apartment with a spacious terrace and sea view. Apartment A at ground level, Apartment B on 1st floor, Apartment C on 2nd floor are all similar and have the same features.
Apartment A: You enter the dining area to seat 4 next to the kitchen equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Open-plan to this is the living area with sofabed, armchairs, satellite TV, and DVD; from here is access to a spacious terrace with table and chairs, sun loungers, parasol and magnificent sea views. Off the living area is a double bedroom with sea view and shower room/wc with washing machine and hairdryer. Sunday arrival at Dubrovnik. Drive 30 minutes.
