Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. We are in the middle of Corbières district, surrounded by AOC vineyards and Cathare castles. The surrounding hilly landscape is ideal for hiking. In the immediate vicinity, you will find the wide white sandy beaches of Leucate and Port la Nouvelle. For those who want less visited beaches are Lapalme and La Franqui worth a visit. The area offers many historical attractions such as Narbonne, the first Gallo-Roman villa outside Italy, the Salsa palace, Tautavel caves, the medieval city Carcassonne, etc. The holiday home is situated on a large ground of 2000 m2. In front of the house there is a private terrace and the rest of the ground is a large green area. A private pool is under construction and will be ready for the summer 2009. Garage for 1 large car.
