Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d’Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Holiday home located in the charming village of St.Amans Soult at the foothills of the Montagnes Noires. St. Amans Soult is a small village with only 1800 habitants. Bakery, tabac, boucher, supermarket, wine sale and restaurant in walking distance. Many hiking paths in the area and the mountains. Mazamet 8 km, the old fortified town Carcassone 60 km, Roquebrun at the river Orb (also called "Petit Nice" due to its micro climate) 63 km, 43 km to Olargues one of prettiest villages in France and 90 km to the beaches and the Mediterranean sea.
Beautiful restored rustic village house built in 1669 and during the past years totally restored by its Danish owners. The village house has 260 m2 and a roof terrace overlooking the Montagne Noires. The house is situated in a quiet street. Parking in the street approx. 50 m. from the house.
The village house consists of: Ground floor with French country kitchen and laundry room with fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom and guest toilet..
1st floor has a large south facing living room with nice views and comfortable furniture, toilet and bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms with double beds.
2 floor consists of: 2 bedrooms with double beds, bathroom with toilet and shower. Furthermore, studio apartment with combined living room, bedroom with double bed and kitchen with access to the roof terrace.
