“Notre Dame des Anges”, a former monastery from 1660, is situated just outside the small perched village of Lurs close to the impressive mountain range of Lubéron. “Notre Dame des Anges” has been cleverly and sympathetically converted into seven attractive apartments (ref. 84.300-306), all renovated in 2008.

The apartments form part of the main building and the great barns attached to it. The high ceilings, exposed beams and original doors combined with modern facilities ensure maximum comfort without compromising the atmosphere of antiquity of this beautiful building steeped in history. The 60 centimetre thick walls ensure the apartments are cool in summer yet warm in winter.The building stands in magnificent wooded grounds of two hectares where the plane trees reach some 40 metres towards the sky. The park is completely enclosed so children can play amongst the trees. All the apartments have access to the park, where there are chairs, stone tables, and barbecue for your convenience. The house also offers a nice pool area from 2010.

For the more active, there is a horse riding ten minutes walk from the house, a golf course within half an hour’s drive, excellent and well marked walking in the Alps one hour away to the north and the Mediterranean the same distance to the south.

The Main House is divided up into 2 apartments and can be rented out as a whole (ref. 84.300) or separated (ref. 84.305 ref. 84.306).
