Golfe-Juan lies in the department of Alpes Maritimes between Cannes and Antibes. In Golfe- Juan you first and foremost find one of the very best sandy beaches on the Côte d’Azur, so, if you are looking for good, broad, sandy beaches, Golfe-Juan is an ideal holiday resort. In the high season there are surveillance and life guards and the beach area is cleaned every morning. There are also cheap, pleasant restaurants, renting out beach chairs. Moreover, it was on this beach Napoleon landed with his 800 men after having escaped from Elba in 1815.

The town is a little charming, and typically southern, French coast town with food shops as well as good and cheap restaurants – open all year round.
In Golfe-Juan one can also find a quite new, big and very well frequented marina with lots of restaurants and cafés. There is a big open air theatre with plays and music - both classical and jazz, the whole summer through.
You can walk by the promenade all the way to Juan-les-Pins, which has almost grown together with the old town of Antibes.
Juan-les-Pins is the city of youth with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a casino.
