Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Vaucluse, the Var, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as the Alpes Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of the Drôme and the Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d´Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. The Residence Montefiore is strategically situated to enable to visit the important sites of Tuscany in short distance. The residence is located in the village San Baronto 400 meters above sea level in the Montalbano Chiantiarea. The situation is perfect for lovers of wine, gastronomy and art.
Important towns like Firenze, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo, Grosseto, Livorno and Prato, that all boast churches and other monuments of great architectural and artistic value. Discover less exploited medieval towns nearby and experience the authentic, typical Tuscan atmosphere: Carrara, with its Duomo clad in the precious marble that takes the name of the city. The beauties of the Tuscan countryside are innumerable. Above all, its landscape: the typical, unique, gentle and warm Tuscan countryside. A spectacular sunset view is a must see.
The residense with a total number of 18 apartments was totally renovated in 2004. The guests have free access to the poolarea with large sunterraces. All the apartments are very comfortable and functional furnished.
The spacious apartments of 40-50 m2 consist of a large living room with a doublebed and a sofabed for two persons. Some of the apartments have a separate bedroom. Well equipped kitchenette. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Furnished balcony or terrasse. Lift and parking.
